Whatever the AIX System Administration task is, the command to use is smitty.
Here is your starter pack to get a fast start and full use of smitty in just 20 minutes.

The special smitty keys are:
Navigate menus and fields using arrow keys – Not Enter/Return
Enter = Select Menu Item or Do/Submit
F3 = Escape 3 = Back One Level
F4 = Escape 4 = Field List options (if a list field)
Tab = toggle through options like: true or false or 0120
F6 = Escape 6 = Command Preview (good for scripting)
F8 = Escape 8 = Fastpath name
F9 = Escape 9 = Start a shell, run commands then CTRL+D to return
F10 = Escape Zero = Exit Completely

smitty update_all
smitty mksysb
smitty start_local regular nmon captures
smitty persistent_local_recording_dummy !
smitty chtz_olson time zone predefined
smitty date
smitty lvm Logical Volume Manager: VG, LV \u0026 paging
