Sony A7III Import RAW files into Adobe Lightroom FIX for windows
This video is a work around to fool Adobe Lightroom into believing that these files are from the Sony A9.
Sony a7iii Exif Converter for Lightroom (A9 profile) Download link:

Instructions
1) Download and extract either file
2) Move folder to the root of the c drive
3) Copy raw files into same folder
4) Double click on the raw.bat file (this will convert files)
5) Copy Files with .arw to your lightroom photo files location
6) Open Lightroom
7) Open import and Navigate to folder you just Put the converted files into

Paul Brickwell Original Guide
1) Download Windows Executable from website in video.
2) Make a new folder in the root of your C Drive called exiftool.
3) Put the .exe in the folder and rename it to exiftool.exe (just remove the (k) from the name)
4) Put all your .ACR files in this folder as well, just temporary, you can move them anywhere after.
4) Click on start and search for CMD, right click and run as administrator.
6) Run: cd C:\\exiftool
7) Run: exiftool.exe sonymodelid=\”ILCE9\” ext ARW r C:\\exiftool
It should run through and create new versions of all your photos.
I personally am leaving original files on the SD card to import into Lightroom natively once they update. Especially since what you are doing here is tricking Lightroom into thinking your files are from an A9. There could be benefits to the file that are discarded when converting. But your workflow is up to you, enjoy!?
